Morgan Industries
“Human behaviour is economic behaviour. The particulars may vary but competition for limited resources remains a constant. Need as well as greed has followed us to the stars, and the rewards of wealth still await those wise enough to recognize this deep thrumming of our common pulse.”

Ideologies
Nwabudike Morgan, founder of Morgan Industries, was never meant to be on the good ship Unity at all. In fact, he bought his way on board at the last moment, saving himself as Earth burned. Only right, too, given his company was contracted to build so much of it.
After being raised in the faction he founded, it’s easy to understand why Morganites are the way they are.
Cutthroat, resourceful, and individualistic, Morganites know what they want and how to get it. They’re staunch believers in free-market capitalism, and they’re sure you will be, too - if they find your price. In theory, Morganites live for freedom and individual liberty, showing outward positivity to things like democracy and the voice of each individual. In practice, tycoons wield incredible power and influence while their employees scramble at the bottom of the ladder in a struggle to climb ever upwards.
Everyone is equal, but those who work the hardest simply deserve to be more equal than others.
The lives the average Morganites lead are generally much nicer than those in other factions, and could be compared to that of a comfortably middle-class person in the 2020s; the lives of the most successful Morganites are lives of opulence, excess and unimaginable luxury.
Morganites understand that all they need to do to continue ever upwards is to talk to the right people, make the right deals and step in the right places - if that happens to be stepping on someone else, then they really shouldn’t have put their face there, right?
Synopsis
Appearance
Money talks, but wealth whispers, and every Morganite carries this into how they dress. Suits and shining shoes, subtle fineries and embellishments, shining leathers to match shining smiles.
Rather than tying themselves to insignia and uniform, Morganites make themselves known by dressing well.
Believers – Everyone needs something to believe in, but they are not the most wealthy of customers.
Human Hive – A society where capital cannot flow freely will become stagnant.
Gaia’s Stepchildren – Needlessly restrictive, let them cause themselves to wither where we thrive.
Opinions
UN Peacekeepers – Unambitious, they think too small.
Spartans – They may frown on luxuries but they still make good customers.
University of Planet – These Ivory tower intellectuals have their heads in the clouds, but we can make proper use of their work.
